LINK & ASSIST Bus Fare Increase Public Comments and Meetings: The City of Casper is proposing modest fare increases for LINK and ASSIST bus fares for the first time in over two decades, with the new rates set to take effect on October 1, 2025. The fare adjustment is intended to align the City of Casper's transit costs with those of other surrounding transit agencies and to help offset escalating operational expensies. 

The City's public comment period will be from August 1, 2025 - September 4, 2025. Feedback from the public will be accepted at public meetings (dates and locations listed below), through email to [email protected], or by mail to: Casper Area Transit, 1715 E. 4th Street, Casper, WY 82601. The City of Casper welcomes comments and will consider them before approval of this fare increase. Please submit all comments by September 4, 2025.

Public meetings will be held on the following dates, times, and locations:
Monday, August 4, 2025:
-Evansville Community Center (71 Curtis Street) from 10:30 am - 11:30 am
-Bar Nunn Town Hall (1500 Palomino) from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Tuesday, August 5, 2025:
- Mills Senior Center (401 Wasatch Ave) from 10:30 am - 11:30 am
- Casper Senior Center (1831 E. 4th St.) from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
- Natrona County Public Library (307 E. 2nd St.) from 3:30 pm -4:30 pm
